Ingredients

  • 1 cup frozen blueberries thawed
  • 1 cup frozen strawberries thawed
  • 1 cup fresh raspberries thawed
  • 2-3 T organic sugar
  • 2 tsp cornstarch

Instructions

  • Mix the berries in a medium saucepan. Add in the sugar.
  • Stir while the berries get hot. Add a few tablespoons of water, if needed, to keep the fruit from sticking to the pan.
  • In a small cup, mix the cornstarch with equal parts of cool or cold water. Mix until well blended.
  • When the berries start to boil, add the cornstarch mixture. Stir well. In a few minutes, the berries will start to thicken. Serve immediately.
  • CHEF'S NOTE: You can also use 3 cups of frozen mixed berries that you buy in the frozen section of your local grocery store.
